17-4PH stainless steel performance simple

17-4PH is a precipitation-hardened martensitic stainless steel composed of copper, niobium and columbium. The steel has excellent compressive strength, excellent corrosion resistance, excellent machinability and high material hardness. The compressive strength of the steel can reach 1100-1300MPa, in addition, the corrosion resistance of the steel is the same as 304 and 430.

The steel is also suitable for brazing, and the most suitable brazing temperature is the solution treatment temperature.

17-4PH stainless steel heat treatment process:

17-4PH solution temperature 1020-1060℃, aging temperature 480-620℃, 4h, aging temperature according to the requirements of use.
