S7 cold working die steel is widely used in stamping die, cutting die, shearing die, decoration die, pneumatic tool, hand tool, cutter, knife, decoration tool, cold drill, scissors, stamping die and other metal and plastic die. Its easy heat treatment and non-deformation characteristics are extremely suitable for manufacturing cold and hot molds, and the correct heat treatment can reach the ultra-high strength of HRC55-57.



S7 cold work tool steel in the conventional heat treatment conditions almost all of the residual austenite decomposition, generally can be omitted cryotreatment, in the toughness can still maintain a high toughness, its hardness after heat treatment is higher than H13, in terms of strength is also more than H13, toughness exceeds A2, can fill H13 die steel and A2 tool steel in the application of the shortcomings. The application hardness is generally between 52HRC-58HRC, the whitening layer should be removed after the spark electrical corrosion and the tempering treatment, the tempering temperature should be 50℃ lower than the last tempering.
