Manufacturing process of HPM75 non-magnetic steel mold

(1) Process flow: forging - high temperature annealing - rough machining - solution softening - semi-finishing - age hardening - finishing - nitriding.

(2) Heat treatment characteristics of HPM75 material Surface: This material is hardened by secondary hardening. In addition, the material itself is relatively viscous, which makes the tool easy to wear; the machinability after the solid solution softening process is effectively improved. Appropriate coolant for machining can help maintain dimensions in semi-finishing operations, as well as drilling and threading of small holes. Finishing after age hardening is the final machining process. Dies to be nitrided must be adjusted accordingly. Nitriding is to further improve the surface hardness, wear resistance and service life of the mold, and increase the wear resistance of the blank. Release, blank quality and productivity.

HPM75 non-magnetic steel mold nitriding process (surface nitriding treatment process)

(1) Test material: The chemical composition of HPM75 non-magnetic steel is as follows:

Note: The material state is solid solution aging, and the hardness is 47HRC.

   (1) The correct use of the HPM75 non-magnetic steel heat treatment process and the process flow in mold processing is conducive to the processing and normal use of the mold.

(2) Gas nitrocarburizing significantly improves the surface hardness, wear resistance and service life of the HPM75 non-magnetic steel mold. The surface of the blank pressed by it is bright and easy to demould, which improves the quality and production efficiency of the blank.

(3) Nitriding does not change the non-magnetic properties of HPM75 steel.
