HPM75 non-magnetic steel to increase hardness process

HPM75 is a non-magnetic, high-hardness, easy-cutting plastic mold steel produced through a special melting process. It is a non-magnetic, high-strength austenitic non-magnetic mold steel among HPM series steels. It can maintain stable austenite in various states and has very low magnetic permeability. The high hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and non-magnetic properties of HPM75 non-magnetic steel are comparable to many mold properties such as stainless steel SUS304; therefore, it is suitable for mold products that require high corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The use of gas nitrocarburizing heat treatment can further improve the surface hardness and wear resistance, thereby increasing the service life of the mold. HPM75 non-magnetic steel is prone to work hardening, and low-speed machining is recommended.
